VINTAGE: This wine
was made from a vineyard on the southernmost slopes of
the Elim wine ward. We call this specific vineyard
“Pofadder Bos Sauvignon Blanc” due to frequent
encounters with these snakes in the surrounding fynbos.
The soil is almost 100 % yellow ferricrete which helps add to
the unique terroir of this vineyard. The grapes were
handpicked at optimum ripeness on the 13th of February
2007.
